I know I can rely on this location whenever it's late and I'm craving some grub. They are fully staffed, fast and get my order right on the first try. The line is always long, but they work extra hard to get your food to you in a jiffy. I would recommend going to this White Castle over any other in the city. Also they automatically put the seasoned salt on your fries and you don't even have to ask for it. Lol!!

We're gonna start off by saying the actual product was good. Good sliders from White Castle that also has a nickname of "fart burgers".
I came inside to order since the drive thru had at least 8 cars. When I entered there seemed to be at least 6 customers that had ordered but were waiting for their orders. The first thing I thought was maybe they're under staffed today. There were only 3 employees behind the counter. It happens.
The tables were messy. It was a busy day & they may be under staffed. I'm trying to give them excuses for the slow service & dining area not being clean. But looking over the majority of their past reviews let's me know that this is probably the norm.
Come here to get the good sliders but expect a wait. -

This burger is IMPOSSIBLy good!
I stopped by White Castle, because I had heard such amazing things about the Impossible Budget, which is a plant based "burger". I'm here to tell you that it did not disappoint! If my review were solely based on food, it would be five-stars.
Sadly, the service left much to be desired. I chose to use the drive up window, for the sake of convenience. I was disappointed, however, when after about 5 minutes of waiting (1.5 songs, lol), no one came over the speaker to take my order. I drove around to the window to place my order, thinking perhaps the two-way speaker was out of order, only to wait some more. Someone finally came to take my order, and I then endured another wait (this is becoming a trend) before being served.
I will say that the staff were quite pleasant, once I had the opportunity to interact with them. I do believe that they just need to be more respectful of customers' time, and to be more aware of when customers arrive, in order to assist them in a timely manner. -

This location has a new day shift manager... and I believe the crew here is making improvements. We had a very short window of time and wanted to greet the Purdue All American Marching Band with Sliders as the arrived at IND airport. I had about 10 minute window... the manager was at 6pm shift change and kept griller on the clock to load the griddle while they packed 60 sliders for students arrival. I had 60 sliders in 8 minutes and arrived at terminal in time to share. These we hot steamy and everyone was excited to have this American novelty as they boarded busses to West Lafayette. Kudos to the entire team and when you put customers first, you earn more than a paycheck... you get a bus load of fans. YOU ROCK 38th St. Castle UP! They went to Kilkenny Castle in Ireland, but it was White Castle they Craved to come home to. Thanks

If I could give negative stars, this would be a negative 10. Been in line for 17 minutes waiting to place order. 1 car at window, 2 ahead of me at speaker. After placing order, 11 minutes to get to window to pay. Guy working drive thru obviously didn't want to be there. Gave him exact change and he acted frustrated. Got food and drove 3 minutes to my house. French fries were completely cold, greasy and limp. Had obviously been sitting for to period of time. Cheeseburger was cold and so salty it was unedible. no napkins in sack. Threw it all away and microwaved s hotdog. Don't waste your time or money. Need to get a manager in there who knows how to run a fast food place.
